Who Are We?
The Community for Christ Assistance Center (CFCAC) is a non-profit organization providing emergency assistance to needy individuals, primarily in our local community. We were founded by members of our local area churches. One member from each affiliate church is chosen by the pastor to represent that church. These individual members constitute the board of directors. A volunteer director heads up the center and is amenable to the board of directors. Each affiliate church provides volunteers on a rotating basis to assist in the operation of our thrift store. A board meeting is held monthly.

How Do We Help?
We offer food and clothing assistance for needy individuals and families and also supply a varity of household items should the need arise. We assist with funding for rent, utilities and medicines. By networking with other area agencies we are able to further assist individuals in finding the help and support we may not be able to offer.

How Do We Operate?
CFCAC if funded and operates primarily through donations. Our donations come from our local churches, individuals, and businesses. All of our food and clothing in the thrift store is donated as well; either by individuals or local churches. Labor and thrift store help is volunteered. CFCAC continues to operate by caring and committed people who want to do a work for Christ.
